I was assigned a mentor for the Brink presents Vitamin Water Zero Uncapped fashion show and I have to say I LOVE her! We were able to meet in person this weekend when I was doing my model fittings and I have definitely made a new friend! Safia and I clicked so well and she's been such a valuable resource for this competition! I really don't know what I'd do without her!

I'm one of the four finalists for the Brink Presents Vitamin Water Zero Uncapped!
I am so excited I made it into the final four in this competition. I've never actually entered a design competition so this is super exciting to me.
I've already won a ton of vitamin water, a sketchbook, flipcam and $400 to work on my collection and if I win the final round I get the cover and feature in Brink Magazine, another six month supply of vitamin water and $1000 prize!
I have most of my sketches done and will be working on the last ones this week. I have already drafted a few of the patterns and have already made muslin samples and will start sewing most of my collection over the next two weeks.
I'm keeping everything secret until I show the collection on September 30th but I will say it's unlike anything I've done in the past. I can't wait to show it!!!
